July 11, 2008, Newsletter Issue #105: What Is Microdermabrasion?

Tip of the Week

Microdermabrasion is a common procedure, usually done at a spa or in a dermatologist office. A special tool is used to exfoliate the top layer of skin in conjunction with small, abrasive crystals that absorb some of the oil on the face.

The procedure usually takes about an hour to complete and is usually done in about 5-10 treatments. After a microdermabrasion treatment, it is extra important to moisturize to keep skin looking healthy with a natural glow.
