March 2, 2007, Newsletter Issue #35: What Is The Best Way To Reduce Wrinkles?

Tip of the Week

There are so many ways to treat wrinkles with various skin care products on the market; it is hard to know what will work best for you. Oftentimes, people with deep, prominent wrinkles will opt for treatments like Botox or collagen.

However, for many, a simple anti-aging wrinkle cream will do the trick. One of the most common forms of cream treatment is tretinion, a topical cream with a derivative of vitamin A.

This prescription cream is known as Avita, Retin-A or Renova. The idea behind this, and other topical creams, is that the skin is lightened and old skin is replaced with new skin. Cream treatments generally take more time than more extreme options, with most results seen in two to six months.

However, it pays to be patient because an anti aging wrinkle cream will likely have fewer side effects than other wrinkle treatment options and are less expensive and more easily accessed.
